Terms of Service

Effective from 5 October 2026 · version 1

These terms set out the rules on which you may use Omni (omni.contact). Read them as an agreement with us: they say what we promise and what we expect from you. How we process your data is described separately in the Privacy policy.

At a glance

§ 1. General provisions

  1. These terms set out the rules for using Omni, the messenger available at app.omni.contact (Omni), and the rights and obligations of the people who use it. They are terms of service within the meaning of Article 8 of the Polish Act of 18 July 2002 on providing services by electronic means.
  2. The service provider is FUTURE PROOF spółka z ograniczoną odpowiedzialnością (a Polish limited liability company) with its registered office in Warsaw (ul. Wielicka 40/U1, 02-657 Warsaw), entered in the register of entrepreneurs of the National Court Register under KRS number 0000996785, tax ID (NIP) 5213987731, REGON 523388798 (we or the Provider). Contact: contact@omni.contact.
  3. In these terms:
    • User means a person who has an account in Omni;
    • Guest means a person who uses a link to a single card and has no account;
    • Card means a question asked in Omni together with answers, votes and the final decision;
    • Mail means the feature that lets you open an address such as imie@omni.contact and receive letters there in Omni;
    • Content means everything you enter into Omni: messages, attachments, voice recordings, questions, answers, votes, your name and letters in Mail.
  4. Omni is a closed beta. You can join with an invitation or a start code. Omni is intended for adults.

§ 2. Technical requirements

  1. To use Omni you need a device with internet access and an up-to-date browser (Chrome, Safari, Firefox or Edge) with JavaScript and browser storage (localStorage) enabled. Omni does not set cookies.
  2. An email address is needed only if you want to secure your account and return to it from another device, or to receive letters from Omni.

§ 3. Type and scope of services

  1. Omni lets you:
    1. hold conversations in projects and topics (messages, reactions, attachments, voice recordings);
    2. ask questions in Cards and settle matters: answers, votes, passing your vote, deadlines and the Ledger of settled matters;
    3. send questions and invitations by email to people outside Omni;
    4. share a Card with Guests through a link;
    5. use Mail.
  2. The services are provided by electronic means and, when these terms take effect, free of charge. We will not introduce fees for services you already use without your explicit consent.
  3. The agreement for the provision of services by electronic means is concluded when you open an account (User) or when you cast a vote through a Card link (Guest). The agreement with a User is for an indefinite period and may be terminated at any time (§ 13). The agreement with a Guest concerns a single Card and ends when the Guest closes the page or the Card is closed.

§ 4. Account

  1. An account is created when you enter your name on joining with an invitation or a start code. The name does not have to be your real one, but you must not impersonate another person or mislead others about who you are.
  2. You can secure your account with an email address or by signing in with Google, so that you can return to it from another device. How data from Google is handled is described in the Privacy policy.
  3. You are responsible for keeping login codes secret and for actions taken from your account. If you suspect that someone else has access to your account, write to us.

§ 5. Rules of use

  1. Use Omni lawfully, in line with these terms and with good manners.
  2. You must not deliver unlawful content to or through Omni. In particular you must not:
    1. send spam, meaning unsolicited bulk messages, or send letters from Omni to people who have no connection with the matter or who have opted out of such letters;
    2. distribute malware, phish for data or encourage fraud;
    3. infringe other people’s rights, including personal rights, confidentiality of correspondence and copyright;
    4. threaten or harass others, or spread content inciting hatred or violence;
    5. bypass Omni’s safeguards and limits, disrupt its operation or download data from it automatically in a way that burdens it.
  3. You are responsible for the Content you enter and for having the right to share it with the people you address it to. When you give the email address of another person (for example to send them a question), you do so in a specific matter and in good faith.
  4. Content entered into a conversation is visible to its participants. Do not enter it if you do not want them to see it.

§ 6. Content and rights

  1. The rights to Content remain with you. You grant us a free, non-exclusive licence to store, copy, display and transmit the Content to the extent needed to provide the services to you, including to the people you address the Content to (conversation participants, Card recipients) and to the infrastructure providers named in the Privacy policy. The licence lasts as long as you have an account and ends when the Content is deleted (allowing for backups).
  2. We do not sell Content and do not use it for advertising. We do not review it routinely. We have technical access to it and use that only to fix a fault, answer your request or investigate abuse, in line with the Privacy policy.
  3. The code, name, marks and look of Omni belong to us or our licensors. These terms give you no rights to them beyond the right to use Omni on the terms set out here.

§ 7. Mail in Omni

  1. A User who has secured the account with an email address or through Google can open their own address such as imie@omni.contact. The name must be free, and we may refuse it if it is reserved (for example technical addresses) or misleading.
  2. Letters sent to the address arrive in the “Mail” conversation, which only the address owner can see. You can also forward mail from another mailbox to Omni. You are responsible for such forwarding complying with the rules of that mailbox.
  3. We do not guarantee delivery of every letter: the sender or their mail provider may hold it back. Omni does not scan attachments for viruses, so open them with care.
  4. We protect Mail from abuse: we limit the number of letters accepted per hour and cut off any sender you block. We may take away an address used to send spam or fraud.

§ 8. Guests

  1. A Guest can see a single Card and cast a vote without an account, giving a name. The Guest’s name and vote are visible to people in the project the Card belongs to.
  2. Sections 5 and 6 apply to Guests accordingly.

§ 9. Beta, availability and changes to the service

  1. Omni is a beta. It may contain errors, have interruptions and change. We do our best to make it work properly and we back up the database, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that no data will be lost. Keep important documents and decisions outside Omni as well.
  2. We may change the features of Omni, including adding and withdrawing them, and carry out technical breaks. We will announce the end of the beta or of the whole service in Omni or by email (if you gave one) at least 14 days in advance, and you can save your data during that time.

§ 10. Liability

  1. We are liable for damage caused through our fault on the terms set out in the law.
  2. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for the Content of Users and Guests, for interruptions caused by failures of infrastructure providers, force majeure or the actions of third parties, for the consequences of decisions taken on the basis of what is settled in Omni (Omni is a tool for settling matters, not an adviser), or for damage resulting from a User’s breach of these terms.
  3. As regards Users who are not consumers, our liability is limited to actual loss and does not include lost profits, except for damage caused intentionally.
  4. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits the rights that consumers have under mandatory law.

§ 11. Reporting unlawful content

  1. If you believe that content in Omni is unlawful or infringes your rights, write to contact@omni.contact, say which content you mean and explain why it is unlawful.
  2. After a report we will look into the matter. If the content is unlawful, we will remove it or block access to it, and tell the person who reported it and, where possible, the author of the content.

§ 12. Complaints

  1. You can send complaints about how Omni works to contact@omni.contact. Describe the problem and give the name you use in Omni and an email address for the reply.
  2. We handle a complaint within 14 days of receiving it and reply to the address it came from.

§ 13. Ending the agreement and deleting your account

  1. You can stop using Omni at any time and end the agreement by deleting your account in the app (You, “Delete account”). What then happens to your data is described in the Privacy policy.
  2. We may suspend or delete an account or a Mail address if you break these terms, and in the case of a gross breach (for example sending spam, malware or unlawful content) also without prior warning. In other cases we will first, where possible, call on you to stop breaching the terms.
  3. We may also end the agreement for important reasons, in particular the end of the beta or of the service (§ 9(2)), giving 14 days’ notice.

§ 14. Personal data

How personal data is processed is described in the Privacy policy.

§ 15. Changes to these terms

  1. We may change these terms for important reasons: a change in the law, a change in the scope or operation of Omni, security, or the need to remove ambiguity.
  2. We will tell you about a change in Omni or by email (if you gave one) at least 14 days before it takes effect, and the current version is always available on this page. Changes do not apply retroactively.
  3. If you do not agree to a change, you can end the agreement before it takes effect by asking us to delete your account (§ 13(1)).

§ 16. Final provisions

  1. Polish law governs agreements for services in Omni. For consumers this does not deprive them of the protection given by the mandatory law of the country where they usually live.
  2. Disputes are decided by the court competent under the general rules. A consumer may use out-of-court ways of handling complaints and enforcing claims, for example the help of a county (city) consumer ombudsman or mediation before the provincial inspector of the Trade Inspection.
  3. These terms are available free of charge on this page in a form that can be saved and printed.
  4. These terms take effect on 5 October 2026.
